This three-day conference will include a series of keynote lectures which will cover the formation of all the major classes of zinc deposits, e.g., VMS, carbonate-hosted, shale-hosted, skarn and oxides. Talks on zinc economics, zinc geochemistry and zinc metallogeny with time will also be presented by internationally recognized experts. A student short course on carbonate-hosted Zn-Pb mineralization, and pre- and post-conference fieldtrips to the Irish Orefield will take place.
